3748726 - [Known Error] Field showed up twice in Personal Data Collection step - Onboarding

Symptom

  • Custom portlet is part of the PDC step. The custom MDF object field A is set up on a condition based on the another MDF field B. When the onboardee selects the option(Field B), the field A shows up. But go to the next section in the PDC step, the field A showed up twice in the view.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in as the onboardee and open the Personal Data Collection (PDC) step.
  2. In a custom portlet, select the option that makes a conditional field visible and enter text.
  3. Click Continue to proceed to the next section.
  4. Navigate back to the previous section and observe the same conditional field displayed twice.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.
