3748829 - The Tab Opportunity is not visible in the MS Teams Group once a Deal Room has been created.

Symptom

You have created a Deal Room in SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 and in the MS Teams Group the Tab for Opportunity is not visible. 




Environment

SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Guided Selling
  2. Open any Opportunity
  3. Choose the Create button and select Deal Room
  4. Verify that the Deal Room is created in SAP Sales Cloud
  5. Open MS Teams
  6. A new MS Teams Channel was created with the Deal Room Name
  7. Observe that there is not Tab in the MS Teams Channel to work on the Opportunity

Cause

One possible reason could be that the "SAP Sales and Service Cloud" App is not allowed in the customers Teams Admin Center.

Resolution

  1. Open MS Teams
  2. Navigate to Apps
  3. Search for "SAP Sales and Cloud"
  4. If the App is allowed the Tab should be visible for every user
  5. If the APP is not allowed please ask you MS Teams Admin to allow the app in Teams Admin center.
