3748928 - In Job Information History, incorrect field changes are being displayed when updates are made to fields such as Position Title or other fields, even though those fields were not actually modified- 1H 2026

• When a user updates a position title by reselecting the job code in Position Org Chart, the newly created Job Information record shows changes that belong to a previous Job Information record.
• In the history view of job information, certain fields are displayed, even though there is no actual change in these fields as part of the sync.
• Issue happening only for the user has view current permission for those fields, Then if they insert a new record and saved those view current fields will be visible in history.
•  If logged the user has "View History" permission, these fields are not visible in the history record. and it is working as expected.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to manage permission role >System Admin >Check the permission for the fields: TEST1,TEST2,TEST3 AND TEST4 >Only View Current permission is provided.
2. Proxy as the user in the role :System admin.
3. Go to profile > ABC.
4. Job Data >Job history(Clock icon).
5. Insert a new  record>Create.
6. Select a date Eg: Mar 10, 2026.
7. Select Event: Data change and Event reason: Data change.
8. Click save.
9. Check in the history there is no change in the fields ,But the fields TEST1,TEST2,TEST3 AND TEST4 is showing in the history.

    9. Kindly provide View history permission as well for the above-mentioned fields and check the user profile,It is working as expected  

• This issue is planned to be resolved in the 2H 2026 release.
