3748971 - Copy button is missing for sap-delivered communication configurations

Symptom

The user cannot copy the SAP-delivered communication configurations because the Copy button is disabled or missing.

Environment

  • SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2
  • Integration for SAP Sales/Service Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to System Settings.
  2. Select the “All Settings” tab.
  3. Search for and open “Communication Configurations”.
  4. Open a communication configuration.
  5. Observe that the “Copy” button is missing/disabled.

Cause

The current change project is not checked out, which blocks create, copy, update, and delete operations.

Resolution

  1. Check out the current change project in the system.
  2. Retry copying the SAP-delivered communication configuration.
