Symptom

Custom MDF object data maintained in Personal Data Collection by candidate is not flowing to Final Review. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Onboarding dashboard and start the Final Review task for the impacted onboardee.
  2. Navigate to the custom MDF sections.
  3. Observe that the custom MDF data is empty, even though the onboardee completed Personal Data Collection.
  4. Compare with another onboardee who completed the same Personal Data Collection and see the data visible in Final Review.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

The Hire Template doesn't load successfully for Personal Data Collection flow when the candidate saves a draft from Personal Data Collection page and reloads the page at later point in time.

This results in candidates not entering data for the required custom MDF objects resulting in downstream impact.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.

Workaround

Enter the data in Final Review manually.
