3749198 - White Screen When Moving Candidate in Redesigned Candidate Workbench - Recruiting

Users are unable to move candidates to another status in the Redesigned Candidate Workbench.

After attempting to move the candidate, the screen turns white and no further action can be performed, preventing completion of the status change.

1. Enable and use the new applicant management experience.
2. Select a candidate and click "Move".
3. In "Move to status", choose a subsequent status.
4. Click "Move" and observe that the status does not change and a blank page appears.

The issue is caused by an incorrect configuration in the Application Template.

The field questionResponse is defined as a custom field (custom="true"), whereas it is a standard system field and should not be treated as custom. This misconfiguration results in a backend error, causing the UI to fail and display a white screen.

Update the Application Template to correctly define the questionResponse field as a standard field:

1. Access Provisioning (via Partner or Implementation Team).
2. Download the Application Template XML.
3. Locate the questionResponse field configuration.
4. Update the attribute from:
   • custom="true" → custom="false"
5. Save and re-upload the updated template.
6. Perform validation in the instance.

After correcting the configuration, users should be able to move candidates in the Redesigned Candidate Workbench without encountering the white screen issue.
