3749249 - An error occurs when opening SSCUI 102532 'Define Material Type Assignments' in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When attempting to open SSCUI 102532 "Define Material Type Assignments", the system displays the error message: "No authorization to start the UI Transaction S_ALR_87003746".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the CBC workspace.
2. Navigate to the "Configuration Activities" tab.
3. Search for the Configuration Activity: SSCUI 102532 "Define Material Type Assignments".
4. Click on the entry.
5. Select the "Go to Activity" button.
6. The error message is displayed.

The required business catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_PP_DI0_PC has not been assigned, which prevents access to the SSCUI.

To access the SSCUI 102532 "Define Material Type Assignments" :

• The 'SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_PP_DI0_PC' business catalog should be added to the BPC_EXPERT business role (or to the similar role in use).
• Additionally, to enable editing rights, grant 'Write Access' with the setting 'Unrestricted' to the BPC_EXPERT business role (or to the equivalent role currently in use).
