3749452 - Rule to enforce new employment not triggering onChange for PPX Job info edit

There is an inconsistency in behaviour between PP3 and PPX for Rule to enforce new employment under Employment Settings configuration. When we configure the rule to raise an error message when Company is changed then

• PP3 raises the error message as soon as the company is changed i.e., onChange
• PPX raises the error message when clicking on submit at the end i.e., onSave

The behaviour should be consistent across PP3 and PPX.

1. Log in to instance
2. Sample rule:
3. Navigate to user's profile > all actions > ‘Change job and compensation info’ > warning message is thrown ahead of save action> pp3 UI = expected behavior.
4. Edit via Job Information > pencil icon > warning message not thrown on changing the field.
5. Save action = warning message is thrown.

Known issue.

Engineering have identified this issue and plan a tentative fix for 2H2026.
