Symptom

Messages are shown in Error or Failed status with the Status Description - the GLN(s) or sender/receiver identifiers are not maintained in SAP TH.

Environment

SAP Traceability Hub

Cause

The required GLN(s) or other partner identifiers are missing in SAP Traceability Hub. Specifically, the PartnerID details are not maintained in the AlternativePartners table, which causes message validation to fail.

Resolution

  • Ensure that all required GLN(s) or other relevant partner identifiers are correctly provided to SAP Traceability Hub (SAP TH) prior to sending any messages.
  • Additionally, verify that the identifiers used in the message payloads are valid and correspond to those that were provided to SAP TH during manual onboarding or used while sending invitations as part of self-onboarding.
  • If additional identifiers must be configured for an existing connection, contact SAP Traceability Hub support to have the necessary details appropriately maintained in the system.
