3749542 - Stock Overview Data Source Lacks Number of Days in Inventory field for the Product

Symptom

In the Stock Overview Data Source, there is no field available to display the Number of Days in Inventory or related to Age of the Material.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
  2. Go to Data Source view.
  3. Search for the Data Source: Stock Overview.
  4. Choose Preview.
  5. Enter the Material ID.
  6. Choose Apply.

There is no field is available in Stock Overview Data Source to display the Number of Days in Inventory or related to Age of the Material.

Resolution

  1. Currently, SAP Business ByDesign does not support displaying the Number of Days in Inventory or related to Age of the Material in Days in Data Sources. Submit the request in the Customer Influence portal: Customer Influence.
  2. As a workaround, use the Inventory Aging report to determine the Stock duration in Warehouse.
