3749593 - Onboarding dashboard shows rehire date as hire date instead of new hire date - Onboarding

After a user is terminated and rehired directly in employee central, the onboarding dashboard shows the rehire start date instead of the new hire date.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Initiate a "New Hire";
2. Leave the "New Hire" onboarding process opened in dashboard;
3. Terminate the candidate and then perform a "Rehire with Old Employment";
4. Open the onboarding dashboard and search for the user;
5. Observe that the displayed start date aligns with the rehire date instead of the "New Hire" hire date.

Expected behavior by system design.

When a user is rehired with Old Employment, the same user ID is retained and the onboarding dashboard pulls the updated start date from employee central since the user profile remains the same.
