3749650 - Internal Candidate Resume Upload Error using CX - Recruiting

Symptom

An error is occurring when Internal Candidate uploads a resume in their Application. 

Error is occurring New Candidate Experience UI. 

Error found: 

internalMessage=Failed to load candidate data
errorMessage=Input 'null' mismatches required type of parameter resumeId
name=Error
code=BadArgument

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login in Career site as Internal Candidate
  2. Search for Application
  3. Apply and proceed to upload resume
    1. The error occurs when there is no Resume uploaded in the account/profile.
  4. An error will occur with the above information. 
  5. Second error will occur that insufficient permission for fields. 

Cause

In New Candidate Experience UI application, even when resume parsing is turned off, the system still parses the uploaded resume and fills fields like first name, last name, and email. For internal candidates, these fields are read-only and come from the user profile. 

Resolution

The issue is now being investigate by Engineering team.
