3749653 - Benefit dependencies only evaluating leading benefit instead of leading plan after release 1H 2026

Benefit Dependencies only looking at Leading Benefit and not the leading plan post release. Error message: "Enrolling in the benefit opts you out of these dependent benefits"

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Configure a dependency between benefits, making sure that the dependent benefit is connected with specific plans not being enrolled from the leading benefit
2. Go to a user profile.
3. Open the Benefits category and start enrollment for the current year.
4. Select a leading plan that is not part of the dependency’s excluded plan list
5. Observe the message: "Enrolling in the benefit opts you out of these dependent benefits"

The dependency is only looking to the leading benefit and not the specific benefits.
