Error occurs on Save of Job information or Compensation Information in Latest People Profile Edit:

"Maximum length for the field is x characters, and the maximum number of fraction digits is x"

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile 1H 2026

1. Navigate to Compensation Information History
2. Select any time slice and select Correct
3. Change Base Salary amount and save the changes
4. Error appears "Maximum length for the xxx field is xx characters, and the maximum number of fraction digits is x."
5. Go back to Compensation Information History page and select Create
6. Add a new record and change Base Salary amount and save the changes
7. Same error appears

This is a known issue.

The issue will be patch on 14th May 2026 in Preview environments
