3749720 - enableLegacyUIReplacement - Curricula page does not adhere to user date pattern preference

Symptom

With the 1H 2026 release, the enableLegacyUIReplacement setting was introduced which provides a new look for Curricula and Program pages. When accessing a curricula, the date pattern in the Expiration Date and Due Date section do not adhere to the user's preference.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning 1H 2026

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access Options and Settings as the user
  2. Change the Date Pattern preference to anything else other than MM/DD/YYYY
  3. Go to System Configuration > Edit LMS_ADMIN > set enableLegacyUIReplacement=true > Apply Changes
  4. Assign a Curricula to the user and as the user access the curricula
  5. The date pattern values are showing as MM/DD/YYYY instead of another option such as DD/MMM/YYYY

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Workaround

Users can set the preference to MM/DD/YYYY or disable enableLegacyUIReplacement.
