3749739 - CF* queues stuck in SMQ2 with error /SCWM/PS_BASICS233 when distributing ERP packing instructions to embedded EWM

Symptom

  • In an embedded EWM deployment, distributing ERP packing instructions (POP, POF) to EWM via queues leads to stuck CF* queues in SMQ2 when changes occur to already-distributed packaging specifications.
  • Error message: “Message No. /SCWM/PS_BASICS233 &2 &1 has logical system &3, cannot be replicated to the original system”.
  • Queue function module observed: /SCWM/CIF_PACKSPEC_INBOUND.
  • When more than one packaging specification exists for the same material, the second specification distribution causes the queue to stop.
