Symptom
Site ID and Site Integrations fields appear blank or greyed out after importing site settings.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
- SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Settings > Site Configuration > Site Information.
- Observe that the Site ID is blank.
- Go to Site Integrations tab
- Notice that all fields on the page are greyed out (disabled).
Cause
The issue is caused by using the Import & Export feature to directly modify the portalurl to the SAP-managed standard URL format.
Resolution
Note: It is strongly recommended to back up the original XML file before making any changes.
To restore the site, update the portalurl to any value that is not the SAP-managed standard URL format, then update it to the standard URL in the UI.
- Export the Site Settings via CSB > Tools > Import & Export.
- In the exported XML file, update the <portalurl><![CDATA[xxxx]]></portalurl>value with the Company ID.
- Re-import the updated Site Settings via CSB > Tools > Import & Export.
- After restoring the site, setup the Site URL using the CSB editor: CSB > Settings > Site Configuration > Site URL. Avoid modifying the XML file directly for this step.
