3749793 - The error massage AA615 - 'Mean amount from & & exceeds low value asset maximum amount' appears during asset migration - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

During the migration of the posting for a fixed asset, the error AA615 'Mean amount from & & exceeds low value asset maximum amount' is raised.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Perform Fixed Asset - Postings migration in Migrate your data App.
  2. Run the simulation process.
  3. Observe the error messages AA615 generated during the simulation.

Cause

Quantity was entered in multiple depreciation areas; quantity can only be added to 0L, and adding it to 2L raises the error.

Resolution

  1. Ensure quantity is provided only for 0L in the migration template in the Transaction Headers tab.
  2. Remove any quantity entries from other depreciation areas (for example, 2L).
  3. In the Transaction Headers tab, use Sequence number 1 to create the opening quantity posting and populate only the header tab for the opening quantity (per column header guidance). Omit Sequence number 2 if only opening quantity values are required for the legacy asset.
  4. Re-run the simulation and then execute the posting.
