3749797 - Import reported data (F7742) rejects assigned document type 0B with error message : "Invalid Document type." Message no. FINCS_DTX086 when launched from data collection task

When starting Import Reported Data (F7742) from a Data Monitor Data Collection task that has two assigned document types (for example, 00 and 0B), uploads with document type 0B are rejected while 00 is accepted.

Error message: "Invalid Document type." Message no. FINCS_DTX086.

Diagnosis shown: "Document type(00) assigned to current task differs from Document type(0B) in file."

If the app is opened directly from the Fiori Launchpad, uploads with both document types (00 and 0B) are accepted.

1. Open the Fiori Launchpad.
2. Set global parameters (Version and Period/Year) as needed.
3. Open the Data Monitor app.
4. Start a Data Collection task that has two document types assigned (for example, 00 and 0B) in Test/Update mode for a consolidation unit.
5. When Import Reported Data (F7742) opens, upload a file with document type 0B.
6. Open the task log and observe error FINCS_DTX086: "Invalid Document type."

A fix will be included in Hotfix Collection 11, which is 30th May 2026.

1. Workaround: Open the Import Reported Data app (F7742) directly from the Fiori Launchpad and upload files with the required document type (for example, 0B).
2. Optional workaround (not recommended for productive use): Temporarily remove document type assignments from the affected Data Collection task to bypass the validation, perform the upload, and then reassign the document types.
