3749800 - cua idocs stuck (status 30) and smqs qrfc resources red due to hanging sm_efwk rfc sessions - solution manager

Symptom

  • Central user administration (cua) not working; idocs cannot reach connected systems.
  • In we05 many idocs are in status 30.
  • In sm58 many entries are in status “recorded”.
  • In smqs qrfc resources show red and the scheduler shows yellow; trfc luws do not get processed.
  • In sm04 a large number of rfc sessions for user sm_efwk are hanging for a long time.
  • Some work processes for user sm_efwk appear stuck; terminating them does not clear the red qrfc resources until the idle rfc sessions are ended.
  • Observed repeated rfc_ping calls to an sm59 destination pointing to an unavailable/decommissioned system.
