Symptom
An email is sent via Autoflow to a recipient whose language is not English. Although placeholders are maintained in the email template and are expected to display in the recipient’s language, the placeholder values appear in English instead of the expected language.
Environment
SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2
Reproducing the Issue
- In System Settings, create an Email Template for Autoflow in a non-English language (e.g., Spanish).
- In System Settings, create an Autoflow using the email template created in Step 1 (e.g., applicable to any business object).
- Trigger the Autoflow by meeting the configured conditions.
- Ensure the email is sent to a recipient whose language is set to Spanish.
- Open the received email and verify the placeholder values.
Result: The placeholder values are displayed in English.
Expected Result: The placeholder values should be displayed in the recipient’s language (e.g., Spanish).
Cause
This is the expected system behaviour. Currently, the placeholder within the email template is not performed based on the recipient’s language. *Placeholders are always displayed in English when using the Autoflow scenario, even if a foreign language template is selected.
