3749870 - BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE does not update complaint quantity (QMEL-RKMNG) based on item quantities

Quality notification is created by BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE.

In structure NOTITEM, fields 'Defective Quantity for Item (External)' (QUANT_EXT_ITEM) and 'Defective Quantity for Item (Internal)' (QUANT_INT_ITEM) are filled.

When notification is created, it is observed that item level fields 'Defective Quantity for Item (External)' (QMFE-FMGFRD) and 'Defective Quantity for Item (Internal)' (QMFE-FMGEIG) are updated correctly. But header level field 'Complaint quantity' (QMEL-RKMNG) is not updated with the sum of the values maintained in above two fields despite the statement in SAP Note 445541.

If quality notification is created in dialog transaction QM01, this happens automatically as described in above SAP Note.
