Symptom
After upgrading to 1H 2026, opening Work Schedule > Details or clicking Find a Work Schedule in Job Information returns “System error. Please contact administrator.” if time off is disabled in the instance.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off
Reproducing the Issue
Prerequisite:
- Time off is disabled.
- "Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile" is disabled
Steps:
- Go to an employee
- Open All Actions.
- Choose Change Job and Compensation Information.
- select event and event reason.
- Go to the Work Schedule section.
- Click Find a Work Schedule
- Result: Error "System error. Please contact administrator."
- Repeat the steps 1 - 5
- Click Details beside work schedule
- Result: Error "System error. Please contact administrator."
Resolution
Product Engineering has fixed the issue via patch(PTCH-49936) which is scheduled for 19th May 2026 in Preview and 22nd May 2026 in Production environments as confirmed.
