It is still unclear how the system address the currency and exchange rate to other currencies in Fixed Asset Settlement when using the Amount rule, as the Amount rule uses exclusively Group Currency (Controlling Area Currency).

1. Maintain a project/WBS settlement rule with a fixed amount and a fixed asset reciever.
2. Observe that there is no field to select currency in the settlement rule.

This is standard behavior: the settlement amount rule is maintained in controlling area (group) currency and the settlement distributes amounts proportionally across all currencies based on historical postings without performing currency conversion. Since the goal of settlement is to forward the posted amounts to the settlement receivers in all currencies as historically posted, there is usually no currency conversion during settlement.

Example (company code currency EUR, group currency CNY):
Historical posted amounts up to the settlement period (excluding KOAE transactions): 150 EUR, 1.200 CNY
Amount rule: 800 CNY
Based on the amount rule, 2/3 of the posted amounts shall be settled. 
The settled amount in company code currency is calculated as 2/3 * 150 EUR = 100 EUR
=> Settled amount: 100 EUR, 800 CNY

Use the proportional calculation to interpret the results in company code currency:
Settled amount in company code currency = historical postings in company code currency up to the settlement period × (entered amount rule in controlling area currency ÷ total historical values in controlling area currency up to the settlement period).

If the business requirement is to avoid currency-specific input and rounding differences, use a percentage or equivalent number rule instead of an amount rule.
