3750017 - Cannot Save OAuth Client ID/Secret When Enabling OAuth for ServiceNow Integration

Symptom

  • Switching authentication from Basic to OAuth in the integration credentials setup results in errors when saving the Client ID and Client Secret.
  • The credentials cannot be saved.
  • Errors observed:
    • internal server error while connecting to ServiceNow-table: 'Can not access ServiceNow system. >> 403 - Forbidden (message=User Not Authorized, detail=Access to unscoped api is not allowed)'
    • unknown field [name] in ServiceNow table [cmdb_ci_business_app] — and similar errors for every field and table
