Symptom
- When the Latest Editing and History UI is enabled, warning messages raised by business rules are not fully translated.
- The header ("Warning") and the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons remain in English.
- Custom translations cannot be added, as no message key is available when switching to the English (DEBUG) system language.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
Prerequisite: Latest Editing and History UI is enabled.
- Create a Business Rule for Job Information that raises a warning message (for example, when certain criteria are met).
- Change the system language to any language other than English.
- Open an employee’s People Profile.
- Navigate to Job Information.
- Make changes that trigger the warning.
- Save the changes to trigger the warning message.
- Observe that the warning dialog header and the "OK" / "Cancel" buttons remain in English.
- When using the English (Debug) system language, no message key is available to support adding a custom translation.
