Custom background images uploaded in Configure Latest People Profile > General Settings appear as selectable but do not display when applied to a user’s profile.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile:People Profile - Spotlight
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Configure Latest People Profile.
- Open General Settings and upload a custom background image.
- Navigate to any user profile.
- Select the uploaded custom image as the profile background.
- Observe that the image does not display and appears greyed out.
Cause
A product defect introduced with the 1H 2026 release affects the rendering of custom background images in Latest People Profile.
Resolution
The fix for this issue will be delivered with patch 2605p4.For preview environments, the patch is scheduled for 12-May-2026.
