Reproducing the Issue
- Create or edit an offer letter template and include a token that is not a valid standard token or a configured custom token.
- Generate or preview the offer for a candidate and proceed to the next step.
- Observe that the token does not resolve and no warning message appears.
Cause
Invalid token used on the offer letter
Resolution
- In the offer letter editor, check the list of available tokens and confirm the token exists as a standard token or as a configured custom token.
- Replace any invalid tokens with the correct standard token or a properly configured custom token.
- If you expect a warning to appear, ensure the valid token’s source field has no value (empty). Validation only triggers for valid tokens whose field value is empty.
- Preview the offer and proceed to the next step to confirm that the warning appears for unresolved valid tokens with empty values appears.
