Symptom

Means of transport field is unusable and unconfigurable in delivery.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The means of transport feature is not supported in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition currently, and packaging material types with the category “Means of Transport” cannot be created.

Resolution

The means of transport feature is currently not supported in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and that creating packaging material types with the category “Means of Transport” is not possible.

Submit a feature request through the SAP Continuous Influence process. Refer to SAP Note 2963059 - How to Submit Feature Requests for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Product.
