3750470 - Unable to change effective date in compensation template

• An error occurs when attempting to change the Employee Central effective date after compensation worksheets have been launched.
• Error message: "The effective date cannot be changed after one or more forms have been created."

• Hierarchy based approvals

1. Go to Compensation home and select the template.
2. Launch worksheets.
3. Attempt to change the Employee Central effective date and observe the error.

The system design does not support changing the Employee Central effective date after compensation worksheets have been launched.

1. Acknowledge that changing the Employee Central effective date after one or more forms (worksheets) are created is not supported by design.
2. To use a different effective date on compensation worksheets, delete the existing worksheets and relaunch them with the desired Employee Central effective date.
