3750536 - Cannot hide template id field in new hire data review (NHDR) step - Successfactors Onboarding

• In the New Hire Data Review (NHDR) step, the Template ID field cannot be hidden.
• In the NHDR step, fields within the Biographical Information block (for example, date of birth) cannot be hidden for the responsible group while remaining required for the candidate.
• No error message is displayed.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Configure a New Hire Template under Manage Data and include the Biographical Information block; set a field (for example, date of birth) as required.
2. Assign a business rule in Onboarding Configuration (for example, DEFAULT_ONB2_CONFIG) to select the New Hire Template for the NHDR step.
3. Initiate onboarding for a candidate and start the NHDR task.
4. Observe that the responsible user cannot hide the required field (for example, date of birth) or the Template ID field in the NHDR step.

The current product design does not support hiding the Template ID in the NHDR step, nor hiding certain required fields (such as date of birth) for the responsible group while keeping them required for the candidate.

1. Note that this is currently working as designed: the Template ID and certain required fields cannot be hidden during the NHDR step.
2. If this capability is important for your process, submit an enhancement request in the Customer Community for future consideration.
