3750697 - 'Personalize your home page' button not visible on Latest Home Page Experience while proxying

Symptom

  • When proxying as another user, the "Personalize your home page" button does not appear.
  • The button is visible for the user's own home page when not proxying.
  • No error message is displayed.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable and confirm the "Personalize your home page" option is available for a user on their own home page.
  2. Start a proxy session as another user.
  3. Navigate to the home page during the proxy session.
  4. Observe that the "Personalize your home page" button is not displayed.

Cause

It is not possible to personalize the home page while proxying.

Resolution

Log in directly as the target user (not a proxy session) to access and use the "Personalize your home page" button.
