3750703 - Warning 'standard hierarchy cannot be found in your selected controlling area' in Manage Profit Center Groups - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Warning 'Standard Hierarchy cannot be found in your selected controlling area' obtained in app Manage Profit Center Groups while trying to access the standard hierarchy.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app Manage Profit Center Groups.
2. Select the relevant controlling area and choose Go.
3. Select Standard Hierarchy and then choose Select Standard Hierarchy.
4. The error “Standard Hierarchy cannot be found in your selected controlling area” is displayed.

The profit center group set as the standard hierarchy in the configuration activity 'Define Profit Center Standard Hierarchy in Controlling' is not created in the system.

1. Open the configuration activity 'Define Profit Center Standard Hierarchy in Controlling' and identify the profit center group maintained as the standard hierarchy for the controlling area.
2. In the app Manage Profit Center Groups, create the profit center group identified in step 1.
3. Save and activate the group as required.
4. Reopen Manage Profit Center Groups, select the controlling area, and choose Standard Hierarchy to confirm it is available.
