3751082 - Error upon changing Pay Component Amount - "Compensation Information - You do not have the necessary permission" - 1H2026

While changing amount of pay component the error occurs in the Latest People Profile.

Error - "Compensation Information - You do not have the necessary permission".

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Compensation Information

1. Navigate to employee's Compensation Information.
2. Click on Edit > Recurring Compensation > edit the amount of Pay Component.
3. Click on Save.
4. Error occurs - "Compensation information- you do not have necessary permission".

Engineering team confirmed that this defect is resolved via the scheduled patch PTCH-50201 (1H2026P7) on 2nd June in Preview and 4th June in Production environments.
