Symptom
- Post 1H 2026 Release on Latest People Profile, notice that there is a new country specific section in Payment Information Details.
- Some country specific fields that are already shown in the main parent Payment information Details now show duplicated in this new section.

Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to My Employee File or profile of any user
- Go to Personal Data > Payment Information Card > View All
- Notice a new country specific section such as Payment Information Detail USA
Cause
- There is a behaviour change regarding MDF configuration UI's between Latest and Legacy People Profile where fields from a composite child are no longer supported in a parent object group.
- See SAP Help guide documentation for this behaviour change by filtering on feature 'Fields from Composite Objects' in the below link:
Comparison of MDF Behavior in Legacy and Latest People Profile
- Configuration UI (Config UI) restricts field placement to their designated object groups.
- Fields from one object cannot be added to a different object's group, even within the same hierarchical structure.(Parent/Child relationship)
- Each field must remain within its own object boundary in the Config UI.
- In this case, fields from parent Payment Information Details must remain within this UI group while the composite child Payment Information Detail USA must have its own fields within it's object group.
Resolution
To Resolve this issue, please make the following changes to Payment Information Configurable UI:
- Go to Configure Object Definitions > Payment Information > Note the UI ID under ' Default Screen'
- Go to Manage Configuration UI > Search UI ID noted
- Hover on the top right of the UI until a menu bar shows and the click 'Add Group'
- Hover on the top right of the new group section and select 'Edit Properties'
