Symptom

When a workflow step approver is removed or changed, the Activity section shows entries such as "null was removed as a step approver..."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Initiate a workflow (for example, a termination or job change that triggers approval).
  2. Modify the workflow approvers and remove a step approver.
  3. Navigate to Manage Workflow Requests.
  4. Open the Workflow Details of the affected request.
  5. Review the Activity section and observe the entry showing "null was removed as a step approver".

Cause

Resolution

Engineering has confirmed the fix for this issue, which will be applied on May 21st.
