Symptom
Inbound Delivery number field (Document and Stock Reference) is empty for putaway warehouse task even Doc.Cat. DocRef is set as "PDI".
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an inbound delivery.
- In the Change Inbound Deliveries app, update batches and Pack stock into multiple handling units, then post goods receipt.
- Create warehouse tasks from the Change Inbound Deliveries app and perform putaway.
- Open the warehouse monitor (/SCWM/MON) and review created warehouse task.
Cause
The inbound stock was packed into multiple HUs and putaway task is generated as HU WT.
Resolution
- In customizing, open the Warehouse Process Type used for putaway then Uncheck the option “Create HU WTs for Putaway”.
- if the inbound process is QM relevant, go to customizing "Maintain Follow-Up Actions" then uncheck the option "Creation of HU WT". if it is not QM relevant, ignore this step.
- Save the customizing changes and retest with new inbound deliveries.
