3751712 - Freight unit created incorrectly when inbound delivery has multiple handling units

Symptom

When an inbound delivery is created with multi-level Handling Units and automatic packing is performed, the generated Freight Unit does not consider all HU line items correctly. The inbound delivery shows the correct total quantity; however, in the associated Freight Unit, only part of the quantity is transferred due to one of the below reasons:

  • Freight Unit contains only one HU item/material line
  • Remaining HUs are created as empty or dummy HUs
  • Total quantity in the Freight Unit is lower than the inbound delivery quantity
  • Only the first HU or first packed item is considered during FU creation
