3751824 - Unable to Edit Road Freight Order due to Error Message - "you are not authorized to edit this business document"

When attempting to edit a road freight order in the Manage Freight Orders app, an authorization error occurs. Error message: "You are not authorized to edit this business document."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Manage Freight Orders app.
2. Open the relevant Road Freight Order document
3. Select Edit.
4. Observe the error: "You are not authorized to edit this business document."

The business role assigned to the user has authorization categories (Write, Read, Value Help) set to Restricted for the relevant Transportation Management catalog, preventing edit actions.

1. Identify the business role assigned to the user that contains the business catalog SAP_TM_BC_ORDR_PC (Transportation - Order Management).
2. In that business role, change the authorization categories to Unrestricted for:
   • Write, Read, Value Help
   • Read, Value Help
   • Value Help
3. Save the changes to the business role.
4. Test again by editing a road freight order in the Manage Freight Orders app.
