3751973 - Timeout error when adding several curricula to a library

• When adding several curricula to a library, the system displays an error message:
  • "An error occurred while processing your request. 
    Reference #xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx 
    https://errors.edgesuite.net/xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx"
• On the browser network logs, a 504 status (timeout) returns.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Open Learning Administration >
2. Go to Learning Activities > Libraries and open a library >
3. On the Curricula tab, select the + icon to add curricula >
4. Search and select a large number of curricula (for example, select 500 per page, then Select all) >
5. Click Add >
6. Wait a few minutes until the error message appears and the curricula are not added.

• There is no absolute limit on adding curricula to a library, however the job times out after two minutes. 
• Because curricula can be bundles of anywhere from 1 to 100+ assignments, adding a very large number of curricula at once results in a request that exceeds the two minutes, resulting in a timeout status.

• The curricula should be added to the library in smaller batches (100 or less).
• Depending on the number of assignments added to the curricula, the job might still time out. If this occurs, reduce the number of curricula on the batch and try again.
