3752028 - Require Attachment Validation When Entering Actual Date On WBS Element - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When the user enters the Actual Date in the WBS element, it is required that the system should validate that an attachment is uploaded.

1. Go to Project Control – Enterprise Projects.
2. Enter Actual Date on a WBS element.
3. Save the WBS without uploading any attachment.
4. Observe that the system allows saving the WBS without enforcing an attachment or raising an error.

• Feature limitation: attachments are managed separately from business object validations, and there is no configuration, SSCUI, or released extensibility (BAdI) to enforce attachment-based validation during WBS save.

1. Create a custom field on the WBS element (for example, “Attachment Confirmed”) using the Custom Fields & Logic app.
2. Select Business Context: Enterprise Project / WBS Element.
3. Configure the custom field to be mandatory when the Actual Date is filled.
4. Instruct users to confirm the custom field before saving the WBS.
