Symptom

  • Logs show: "Could not send the order metrics"
  • Error/exception in logs: "DEADLINE_EXCEEDED: Error sending an EDP message with a key 'ordermetricsv2'. Check configuration and the EDP service status."
  • Additional log pattern observed: "UNAVAILABLE / Connection reset by peer" on the ordermetricsv2 gRPC channel
  • Errors occur repeatedly during the affected period in application logs
