Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the external career site and start an application for any job.
  2. Upload a resume.
  3. Select Next.
  4. Observe error.

Cause

Configured VFLD fields with xx length in candidate profile such as <data-field id="xx" field-name="vfld" required="true" max-length="xx" anonymize="false">.

Resolution

Review candidate profile field configurations (especially custom text fields such as vfld) that are populated by resume parsing, and ensure max-length limits align with realistic parsed resume content.
