• Latest People Profile is enabled
• HR Person searches for external user in search for action or people presented with error "You don't have permission to access the profile content."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. HR User in “Search for action or people” searches an external onboarding user.
2. Attempt to open the user's Latest People Profile.
3. Observe that either no result is returned or the message "You don't have permission to access the profile content" appears.

• The permission role assigned to the user was not included under Roles for the relevant portlets in Configure Latest People Profile, preventing access to those profile sections.

1. Go to Configure Latest People Profile.
2. Navigate to Full Profile and locate the relevant Employee Data sections/portlets.
3. Edit each required portlet (pencil icon).
4. Under Roles, add the permission role assigned to the HR user which includes the external user target population (the role that needs access to these portlets).
5. Save the changes.
6. Log out and back in (or clear cache) and test again by searching and opening the external onboarding user's profile.
7. If needed, run the Refresh RBP Permission Configuration and test again.
