3752420 - Comments added when updating an Application status are not being saved

Symptom

  • Comment not saved when updating an application
  • No error message is shown
  • Issue occurs in Legacy Workbench and Latest Application Workbench, if application status is updated by editing and saving the Application record

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Recruiting and open a Job Requisition with applicants
  2. Click any candidate name to open the Application Information page
  3. Click the Edit button to update the Application record
  4. Under the Status field, select any status , add a comment, and save 
  5. The Application is moved, but the comment is not displayed

Resolution

Engineering has confirmed this will be addressed in a patch available in Preview environments on 19th May and Production on 21st May. We recommend testing one day after deployment dates to ensure the fix is present in your data center.

In the meantime, the Move button method to move Applications in the pipeline should be utilised, as this is not affected.
