3752424 - Competency description is blank in Performance forms

When including a link in Competency description, the Competency description in Performance forms are blank.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management 1H 2026

1. Add link to a Competency Description 
2. Launch a Performance Form which includes this competency 
3. Competency description is empty in Performance form
4. Delete link from competency description
5. Launch a form with this competency
6. Competency description is visible

There is a security update to warn employees about links in competency descriptions that may redirect them outside of the SAP domain. In some instances, the redirect interstitial setting is not disabled nor enabled in Provisioning, which causes the competency description to be blank.

1. Go to Provisioning >> Company Settings
2. Explicitly check the "Disable Redirect Interstitial" setting on the Provisioning page
3. Or enable "Enable Redirect Interstitial" if this behavior is required.
4. After Redirect Interstitial is enabled, employees will see a warning page when they click a link that may redirect them outside of SAP.
5. There are no side effects from enabling or disabling these settings.
