Symptom
The event reason is non-status changing (eg. data change) and the 'Delete Future-Dated Records After Terminate Action' field is set to 'Yes' on the Event Reason Configuration but after importing termination details the future dated job information record after the termination is not removed. (The same record is deleted if the termination is added through the UI).
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors - 1H 2026
Reproducing the Issue
- View the existing job information for the sample user and see that they have a future dated job info (eg. a non-status changing record such as 'Data Change')
- Go to 'Manage Org Pay and Job Structure' > 'Event Reason' > and see that the event reason has the 'Delete Future-Dated Records After Terminate Action' field is set to 'Yes'
- Go to Import Employee Data
- Select Termination Details import
- Try to import the termination record for the user (before the future dated job info record)
- View the users profile and see that the termination is added but the future dated data change record is still maintained and was not automatically deleted by the system.
