3752562 - Error 'You do not have permission to view the nominations of this talent pool' when Talent Pool object permissions and nomination permissions are assigned through separate RBP roles – SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

• An error occurs when attempting to view Talent Pool nominations: "You do not have permission to view the nominations of this talent pool."
• The issue arises when Talent Pool object permissions and Talent Pool nomination permissions are assigned to separate RBP roles.
• The problem persists even though the user has the necessary permissions granted across the assigned roles.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

1. Assign one RBP role to a user with Talent Pool object permissions only (for example, View All Talent Pools and/or View Non‑Exec Talent Pools with target criteria).
2. Assign a second RBP role to the same user with Talent Pool nomination permissions only (for example, View/Add/Edit/Delete Talent Pool Nominations and View Talent Pool Nomination History), ensuring target populations are met.
3. Log in as the affected user and navigate to Succession > Talent Pools.
4. Open a visible Talent Pool and attempt to view nominations.
5. Observe the error: "You do not have permission to view the nominations of this talent pool."

The system requires Talent Pool object permissions and Talent Pool nomination permissions to reside within the same RBP permission role. When these permissions are split across separate roles, nomination access is not granted.

1. Create or modify a single RBP role that contains both:

• Talent Pool object permissions (for example, View All Talent Pools and/or View Non‑Exec Talent Pools with required target criteria).
• Talent Pool nomination permissions (View, Add/Edit/Delete Talent Pool Nominations, and View Talent Pool Nomination History).

2. Assign this combined role to the intended users.

3. Adjust or remove separate roles that previously held only object or only nomination permissions to avoid overlap.

4. Test by logging in as an affected user, navigating to Succession > Talent Pools, and confirming nominations can be viewed and managed without error.
