Symptom

How to remove pie chart from Alternative Cost Distribution portlet.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open People Profile for a user.
  2. Navigate to the Alternative Cost Distribution portlet.
  3. Observe that a pie chart is displayed and needs to be hidden.

Cause

The Percentage field in the Alternative Cost Distribution Item is not masked.

Resolution

  1. Go to Configure Object Definitions.
  2. Open the object definition: Alternative Cost Distribution Item.
  3. Click on Take Action > Make Correction.
  4. Locate the Percentage field and click on Details.
  5. Change the value "Mask Value on UI" to "Yes".
  6. Save the changes and verify that the pie chart is no longer displayed in the Alternative Cost Distribution portlet.
