Symptom
- Upgrade ASE to SP04 PL07, SP04 PL07 HF1 or SP04 PL08.
- Or upgrade ASE to 16.1 SP00 PL01 or SP00 PL02.
- Performance has degraded since the upgrade.
- CPU utilization has increased since the upgrade.
- In rare occasions, a shared memory dump will hang, and the server is non-responsive.
- dbcc stacktrace for a slow performing spid will look similar to this:
